I won a skein of my choice from Storyteller Stitchery through The Yarnist's Colorwork Weekend Event and chose the Romance lace weight alpaca & silk blend in Autumn at Green Gables and knit up the Orchidée Shawl by Corinne Ouillon with just about 10 yards remaining from a single skein by following the pattern in entirety. (That pattern was designed for an 80% alpaca / 20% wool blend.)

What a perfect combination! Once it was blocked I had to rush out to get the perfect dress to wear with it, one I'd had my eye on already!
