You can buy the book through Fable (the app hosting our book club) which gives you features like sharing highlights and notes, but it isn’t necessary. You can also read your library copy, kindle or hardback version, or listen to the audio book. Whatever you prefer.
No. Some members already own the book and don't want a duplicate. Including the book would also increase the cost of the kit and shipping. Instead, support your local library by borrowing the book or pick up a copy at your favorite book store.

The Yarn, Fiber, and Embroidery Guild selections draw inspiration from the chosen book of the month. Each Guild's materials and colors will not be identical, for example, the Yarn won’t be an exact replica of the Fiber or Embroidery, but you can expect them to have a coordinated palette and compliment each other and the monthly theme.
The Guild options are totally flexible for you to Mix and Match Subscriptions! You can customize your parcel by combining different Guilds (e.g., Yarn & Tea Guild and Fiber Guild) according to your interests.
To receive the next month's Society Parcel, make sure to enroll by the 1st of the month. For example, signing up before June 1st ensures your first parcel is the June shipment.
Society Parcels begin shipping on the 20th of each month.
The Society products are exclusively available to Society members and are hidden from non-members. To access the Member Store, use the link in the Main Menu under the Storyteller Stitchery Society menu item, or find it in the Footer. If these links or Society-exclusive products are not visible, please ensure you are logged into your account. Once logged in, the links and products will become accessible to you.

Absolutely! While we’ll have special discussion threads for Society members to chat about projects using Society yarn, fiber, and embroidery threads, our Book Club is open to everyone. Whether you are a current Society member or not, you are welcome to join the club, engage in book discussions, and enjoy the camaraderie. We’d love to have you join the fun!
