The book itself is not included in the Society box. Each month’s collection is inspired by a shared book, which you can source however you prefer, whether through your local library, a favorite bookseller, or your own shelves.

Many members enjoy the book alongside their making, while others simply love the colors, materials, and creative rhythm the story inspires. There is no pressure to keep up or participate in any particular way.

Selections range widely and may include fiction, historical fiction, fantasy, cozy reads, and other story-rich books that lend themselves to mood, atmosphere, and color.

Rather than focusing on a book cover, each collection draws inspiration from themes, characters, settings, or moments within the story.

Each Society collection is inspired by a character, mood, or themes from the story rather than simply copying the colors of the book cover. The focus is on creating beautiful, hand-dyed materials that stand on their own, with an aesthetic meant to be enjoyed even if you don’t read the book or if the title or genre isn’t a personal favorite.

Monthly memberships are fully flexible and may be skipped or canceled at any time.

Three- and six-month memberships renew automatically at the end of the selected term. You are welcome to cancel at any point before renewal once your three or six months have been completed.

Gift memberships do not renew.

Yes! You are welcome to switch between our hand-dyed yarn, fiber, or silk thread options as your creative interests evolve.

• For Monthly Memberships: You can update your selection at any time through the "Manage My Account" section on our website. Just ensure you save your changes before the 1st of the month to have them applied to that month's upcoming parcel.
• For 3 and 6-Month Memberships: Because these memberships are curated for a full term, your craft selection remains consistent for the duration of that period. Any changes you make in your account settings will automatically take effect when your subscription renews for the next term.

You choose the materials that best suit your craft. Options include yarn, fiber, silk threads, or a combination, so you can select what you’ll receive in your Society collection when you join.

Each month’s colorway is designed as a cohesive palette, but the way color appears can vary slightly depending on the material.

This variation is a natural part of working with different fibers and dye processes and is part of what makes each collection unique.

Starting in May 2024, join our monthly member-only virtual meet-ups! Connect with fellow members through Zoom for a fun and casual gathering where you can share projects, ideas, and book recommendations!

To receive the next month's Society Parcel, make sure to enroll by the 1st of the month. For example, signing up before June 1st ensures your first parcel is the June shipment.

Society boxes ship each month, beginning around the 20th.

You will receive a shipping notification when your parcel is on its way.

For Monthly Memberships, this depends on your sign-up date.

Because billing always takes place one month in advance, the timing of your second charge varies:

• If you join early in the month (before the 20th), your renewal will likely process before your first box ships.
• If you join late in the month, you will likely receive your first box before your next renewal.

In either case, rest assured you are never charged twice for the same box.

• Payment #1 (Today): Pays for your first box.
• Payment #2 (Renewal Date): Pays for your second box.

Your payments are simply staying one step ahead to secure your spot in the queue!

Society members receive free access to our private community space, where we gather for book discussions, shared creative time, and monthly live calls.

Participation is always optional. Many members enjoy quietly following along, while others love connecting more actively.

The Society products are exclusively available to Society members. To access the Member Store, use the Society link in the Main Menu, and then select "Member Exclusive Shop". If the link or Society-exclusive products are not visible, please ensure you are logged into your account. Once logged in, the links and products will become accessible to you.

Society boxes do not include a pattern. The focus is on story-inspired materials and creative exploration rather than a single prescribed project.

Ideas are shared inside the community, and members often post project ideas, inspiration, and what they’re working on, which many find just as helpful and more flexible.

The Society community and book discussions are included with an active Society membership.

For those who are primarily interested in the community and book discussions without receiving monthly materials, a separate digital community membership is available. Society members always receive full access to the community as part of their membership.
