Morning Mimosa loose tea

Start the morning off right with this vibrant rooibos blend featuring the natural sweetness of fresh, ripe oranges. Mangoes, coconut, pineapple, and red currant round out this refreshingly bright blend. Sea buckthorn adds a zesty quality that enhances the tart citrus flavor. This tea is delicious on its own, or mixed with sparkling water to create a bubbly brunch-worthy drink!

Unlike most Rooibos blends, which contain red Rooibos, our Morning Mimosa is made with green Rooibos. Green Rooibos is the un-oxidized version of the Rooibos plant. Once oxidized, Rooibos turns red; whereas, un-oxidized, it remains green. Unlike red Rooibos, which is rather sweet, green Rooibos is somewhat tangy and has sharp, slightly earthy, notes.

Brewing Directions

We recommend steeping Morning Mimosa for 5 minutes at 208°. Since it does not contain any portion of the tea plant, Morning Mimosa is very forgiving and difficult to over-steep.
