There’s something about the first snowfall — the way the world quiets, the way time seems to slow. In The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Lucy steps through the wardrobe into a world hushed under snow, where magic lingers in the air and adventure waits behind every tree.
That’s the feeling I wanted to capture in the Narnia Yarn Advent.
It’s a gentle journey through winter — one skein at a time. Each day in December, you’ll unwrap a hand-dyed mini skein inspired by the colors, textures, and moods of Narnia: frosty evergreens, snowy paths, golden lamplight, lion’s mane, twilight skies.
Some days will glow with warmth, others shimmer with icy stillness — together, they form a magical fade that builds like a story told in yarn.
You’ll cast on a project to keep your hands busy through the darkest part of the year. You’ll stitch in quiet moments, with tea or candlelight, letting the rhythm of making and the unfolding palette become a peaceful ritual.
This year’s advent is designed as a 24-day yarn journey — a magical fade of colors, each one dyed to echo the enchanted world beyond the wardrobe.
Here’s what’s inside:
No holiday motifs, no religious themes — just the quiet magic of winter, the glow of lamplight, and the kind of enchantment only Narnia can offer.
This is a box to open slowly. To savor. To make a moment of your own each day — a breath of creativity in the midst of the season.
I’ve gathered a list of patterns as inspiration for advent sets — from fade-friendly shawls and wraps to cozy cardigans, sweaters, and crochet designs. Some are daily knit-alongs, others are perfect to stitch up at your own pace with the whole set once December ends.
We’re only dyeing a small number of these boxes, each one assembled and packed with love in the studio. When they’re gone, they’re gone.
Boxes will ship in early November, so they’ll be ready to begin unwrapping on December 1st.
Please note: due to the size and timing of this offering, advents must be ordered separately from other items.
If you’re craving a bit of magic this season — something to look forward to, something to make with your hands, something that’s just for you — this advent is my invitation to step through the wardrobe. To pause, to stitch, and to lose yourself in the quiet wonder of winter, one day and one skein at a time.
I’ll be stitching right alongside you. 💫
